Celebration of Ministry for Josh Hayward

  • Christ Church St Ives 1 Cowan Road St Ives, NSW, 2075 Australia (map)

Celebrate and give thanks for Josh Hayward’s leadership and service of our Youth Ministry as he prepares to head to Moore College in 2024!

Josh Hayward is finishing in his role as Youth and Families Minister to go to Moore Theological College. While he'll still be around at Christ Church in 2024, we’re looking forward to taking the time across our Sunday services on Sunday 10 December to give thanks to God for Josh’s work amongst the young people and families at Christ Church St Ives over the past five years.

What to Expect

Across the day, we will spend time giving thanks and praying for Josh and his wife, Claire, and reflecting on the many ways in which God has worked in and through them:

  • At 9.15am Mornings, followed by a special celebration Morning Tea from 10.25am onwards

  • At 10.45am Late Mornings service

  • At 6pm Nights, followed by a special celebration Supper from 7.15pm onwards

Thanksgiving formalities and prayers will all take place within the regular service times. There is no need to RSVP for either the celebration Morning Tea or Supper, but save the date and time and plan to stick around after 9.15am Mornings or 6pm Nights.

Thanksgiving Messages & Gift

Whether or not you are able to join us on Sunday 10 December, there’s also an opportunity to contribute to a gift and share a message of thanks and encouragement with Josh. You can:

  • Contribute money towards a gift. Use the button below to donate online. Cash or cheque donations can also be made in envelopes clearly marked "Josh Hayward Gift" via church secure giving boxes or to the office.

  • Contribute a message towards a keepsake book for Josh — Add a photo of yourself if you can! Use the button below to do this online. If you would like to contribute a physical card, note or photo, you can bring these to the celebration Morning Tea or Supper or drop them in at the church office in advance.
