Challenges
The rate of church growth in Africa is exceeding the number of theologically trained church leaders available to disciple these churches.
Church leadership have often had little access to formal education and theological training
The rise of syncretism, secularism & nominalism create obstacles to growing Christian maturity
Opportunities
GWC seeks to train and equip pastors, Bible teachers and leaders of the rapidly growing churches across Africa
-
GWC seeks to play a role in equipping the current and future leaders of the church in Africa to correctly handle the Word of God. A growing church needs trained leaders who can lead people to better understand God’s Word and disciple their congregations to Christian maturity.
GWC is investing in ways to strategically strengthen churches in expanding urban areas and to make more training material accessible online and by-distance so that Christians and church leaders across the African continent can continue to be equipped.
