The Pursuit of Affluence

  • Christ Church St Ives 1 Cowan Road St Ives, NSW, 2075 Australia (map)

What’s wealth got to do with human flourishing?

Our relationship with money affects us all every single day — regardless of our worldview, faith background, or personal experience. If someone asked you, ‘What’s wealth got to do with human flourishing?’, what would your answer be?

In a world that is increasingly uncertain and volatile, for some reason material wealth continues to exist as a key measure of success in our society.

Does wealth give meaning and purpose in our lives? Is having it all the key to happiness? What does money have to do with human satisfaction?

Join us for a relaxed, conversational evening with Max Jeganathan from the Centre for Public Christianity as we consider the answers to these questions and reconsider what lies at the heart of success and thriving.

Whether you’re a church-goer or not, if you’re interested in spending some time thinking about an interesting topic from a different perspective, we’d love to have you join us.
