Tax Deductible Giving

The Gospel Trust, Scripture Fund or Music and Arts Fund are special-purpose funds, able to accept limited tax-deductible donations each year. These donations fund specific activities such as teaching Special Religious Activity (SRE) in our local schools, and the advancement of the Christian faith through music and the arts.

All donations to these funds over $2 are tax-deductible. The last day for qualifying for the current tax year's official receipt is 30 June. Official receipts are issued annually in July.

Tax-deductible giving has been fully subscribed for 2024.

New tax-deductible contributions are now closed for the remainder of 2024.

Details on how to give tax-deductible contributions to gospel work at Christ Church St Ives will be made available when these options reopen in 2025.

Bequests

Another way to give to support Christ’s mission is to make Christ Church St Ives a beneficiary in your Will.

Please obtain appropriate financial and legal advice as you prepare your Will. If you or your solicitor is seeking suggested wording as a starting point, we offer the following:

I give $_______________ to Christ Church St Ives of 1 Cowan Road, St Ives NSW 2075 for the general purposes thereof and the receipt executed on behalf of Christ Church St Ives ABN 41 7641 957 03 shall be sufficient discharge for my Executor/Trustee and my Executor/Trustee shall not be bound to see the application of the said gift.

It is also possible to make a gift in memory of a loved one who attended Christ Church Ives. Gifts can be made to support a particular initiative or project, or for general church use. If you would like to make a gift in memory of a loved one for a specific purpose or initiative, please feel free to discuss this with the Senior Minister or a Warden at your convenience.

Our Senior Minister, Nigel Fortescue, recommends "God's Will and Yours" as a starting point for further reading and prayer. Click below for a free download (pdf).
